Children’s Visual Arts Academy
We are a fun exciting way to learn about photography with a S.T.E.A.M approach including Science, Technology, Education, Animation, and Museums. ALL STUDENTS 5-18 ARE WELCOME. Preschool-5 classes starting in October.
Classes are based on age groups. Public school, all homeschooling, charter students, and out-of-state.
No-School Day Camps
We correspond with Deer Creek, Edmond, and OKC Public School schedules.
We are a fun way to learn photography. We paint, make crafts, watch movies, go on daily outdoor walks, photo field trips, and more! Our camps are themed and so fun for ages 5-15.
Homeschool & Epic students allowed
Your out-of-state child is welcome! We have many students that visit Oklahoma for the no-school breaks and attend classes.
Social Skills Groups
Social Skills groups are for all children, adolescents, and young adults. Along with parents help, we focus on helping kids figure out how to observe, process and respond in social situations. We allow kids to be kids while observing and thinking about their own and others’ thoughts and feelings. The power of awareness & kindness is used to help them make choices that line up with social goals.
We have a variety of 30 minute and 1 hour options available.
Homeschool Enrichment
We are here to support families in teaching students Visual Arts & Photography. We encourage academics with a CO-OP style learning for virtual and home schooled students.
Tip: Look for programs that qualify for Ok approved curriculum points. Example: Zoo Outdoor Photography students learn outdoor photography and also an Oklahoma State Approved Science curriculum usually priced higher vs. non-curriculum point programs.
Art & Animation classes are Oklahoma State Approved Fine Arts Enrichment program for K-12.
We are Epic Vendors
All of our programs are approved for Epic. We have a simple online form to fill out to enroll with the Learning Fund in every program description.
Focus on Photography Classes
We really are a photography program first above everything else! We believe in building up the confidence and eye in the student as we teach then all about the trade-skill of photography.
